Hi, my name is Aaron. How are you?
So you probably want to know a little about me, hmm? Well, I live in in a cool little house in East Nashville, I graduated from Tennessee Tech University a few months ago, and I need your help.
You see, when I started my college career the world was a different place. There was no bail-out, no stock market crash, and jobs were easy to come by. In fact, people my age were promised great, fulfilling jobs with nice salaries and impressive growth potential if only we graduated. And then everything changed.
In the current job market, the only way to get your dream job is to do something crazy to stand out.
So, where did this come from? Well, several years ago, when Twitter was still young, a few different people launched similar campaigns. I watched them cause a commotion for a while before everything settled down again. But now I’m convinced that Twitter’s explosive growth since then and the pervasiveness of Facebook these days can be used to get some people’s attention.
